What To Expect​
Mouse Trap Escape is a real-life escape room game business. Rooms are a type of physical adventure game in which people are locked in a room with other participants and have to use elements of the room to solve a series of puzzles, find clues, and escape the room within a set time limit, usually 60 minutes. Some games include sub-plots. The games are based on "escape the room" video games in which the player is locked inside a room and must explore his or her surroundings in order to escape. Players must be observant and use their critical thinking skills to escape the room. Other inspirations include adventure board games and movies.
Octagon House
The Dungeon
You have let the adventurous side of you out and have decided to go exploring in Ireland. You go to Kilkenny Castle. You are amazed at the past coming alive as if you were transported back to the 12th century. While exploring, you venture down a long hallway only to come to an abrupt stop as the way is bricked up. All of a sudden the floor cracks under you and you fall down, down, down! You find yourself in a small cell. Unsure of how to find your way out, you use the flames to guide you.
NOTE: Fog machine in use. Please let staff know if this might cause a health issue for you so they can turn it off.
You always heard the rumors about old Miss Winslow and her Octagon House. It's said to be full of rooms that were designed to keep people in to share the rest of their lives as her companions. Now, 15 years after she succumbed to her inner demons, you now have a chance to find out for yourselves.
NOTE: NOT recommended for children under 14
The Hostel
​It is 2008, you’ve recently graduated from College and decide to journey to Europe for a once-in-a-lifetime trip with your closest friends. Upon arriving you check in to the local hostel and join the rest of your group at the local Pub for a drink or two. Your night is about to take a very sinister turn. Your last recollection was of being in the Pub, however now you are waking up to your worst nightmare! You have only 60 minutes to solve a series of puzzles and clues the last survivor left behind to help you escape your grisly fate! **NOT RECOMMENDED FOR YOUNG CHILDREN **

The Tomb
For the summer, you are working in an archaeology camp in Egypt. While wandering the local market in Cairo, you overhear 2 gentlemen talking in hushed tones about a recent Pharaoh’s tomb that has been discovered. This piques your inner explorer and you begin to forge a plan to sneak out of the archaeology camp to explore this tomb. You locate the tomb and upon entering the tomb door, it suddenly slams shut, jolting you and your fellow explorers. You are TRAPPED in the tomb and must solve a series of puzzles left behind from the past in order to escape or fall victim to the ancient Pharaoh’s curse!
